English Budgerigars
"Budgies"

English Budgerigars or Budgies are a larger, exhibition style of the american parakeet bred with
a larger head, body and longer feather for show.  They are generally fed and cared for the same
way as american parakeets, and they, too make wonderful pets.
They originated from Austrailia, are generally hardy and breed well when fed a nutritious, high-
protein diet.
English budgies make the best pets and talkers when they are purchased young (less than 1
year) and kept individually, however if you do not plan to be able to give your budgie much
attention, you should not keep them singly.
"Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor
gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them.
Are you not of more value than they?"
Matthew 6:26
